If you do not already have a card for a Marin library (all Marin County Public, San Rafael, Sausalito, San Anselmo, Larkspur, and Mill Valley cards are accepted at Belvedere-Tiburon Library) then you can apply online by clicking on the card icon or by using the link below:

There are two kinds of library cards. You can get either one by filling out the online form.

• An e-Card gives you access to the library's online services. You don't have to come into the library if you just want to use online information or download ebooks. As soon as you submit the online form, you will get an e-Card ID that you can use for three years or until you upgrade it to a full-service card. Read more about e-Cards here.


• A full-service library card gives you access to all the library's services, online and in the library. You can check out materials at any MARINet library and use the computers at libraries that require a barcode to log in. To get a full-service library card, fill out the online form to get an e-Card, and then come into the library with photo ID and proof of address to upgrade your e-Card.
