Bring new or gently used books for donation and enjoy free admission for ages 12 and under
Blackie's Hay Day has become a
community tradition that our children look forward to every
year. Designed for children of all ages, Blackie's Hay Day
is reminiscent of an old fashioned country fair with pony
rides, relay races, toy tractors, jumpies, a climbing wall,
live entertainment and more.

Marin Humane Society with
Share A Book- Read to a Therapy Dog
for Readers
Wednesdays, Sept. 15, Oct.13, Nov. 10, Dec. 8
3pm
The
SHARE a Book program allows children to read to dogs as
a way to improve their literacy skills. The library programs
bring a new and fun way to enjoy books.
SHARE a Book volunteers
also work with individual children to enable them to become
more confident readers. Studies show that canine companions
can help struggling children improve reading skills. Kids
who can read- come read to a therapy dog!
