Tax Resources at the Library
The Library continues to offer tax information and print tax forms to our users. Both state and federal forms and instructions are in the corridor leading to the children's room. There you'll also find tax reference publications. Ask at the Reference Desk if you don't find what you need; we won't be able to offer tax advice, but we should be able to help you find a reliable source.
There are numerous free government options available for you to obtain tax products, tax preparation and assistance in filing your tax returns:
Download Forms and instructions online at IRS.gov
Visit an IRS Taxpayer Assistance Center (TAC), participating libraries and U. S. Post Offices
Individuals making $51,000 or less can use the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program for free tax preparation and, in many cases, free electronic filing.
